Is my first cleaning plan really free?

Yes — completely free, no payment info required. You get one full plan to see if Cleener works for you. From the second plan onward, you'll need a subscription.

How much does a subscription cost?

$4.99 USD per month, or $29.99 USD per year (which works out to 50% off the monthly price). Cancel anytime through your Apple or Google account.

What happens to my photos after the plan is generated?

Your photos are sent securely to our processing infrastructure, analyzed by an AI model to identify rooms and surfaces, and then deleted shortly after. We don't sell your photos, share them with advertisers, or use them to train AI models. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

The AI didn't recognize my room correctly. What should I do?

Try retaking the photo as a single walkthrough shot — stand in the doorway, hold the phone at chest height, and capture as much of the room as possible. Avoid extreme angles, close-ups, or photos taken in very low light.

If you keep having trouble, send us the photo (if you're comfortable) at info@cleener.ai and we'll take a look.

Can I use Cleener without taking photos?

Right now, photos are how Cleener understands your space and decides what to prioritize. We're exploring options for users who'd rather not take photos — let us know if this is important to you.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On iPhone/iPad: Open Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Cleener → Cancel Subscription.

On Android: Open Google Play → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cleener → Cancel.

You'll keep access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

I want a refund. How does that work?

All payments go through Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them directly:

I subscribed on iPhone — can I use it on my Android tablet too?

Subscriptions are tied to the app store you bought them from. An Apple subscription works across your Apple devices signed into the same Apple ID; a Google subscription works across your Android devices signed into the same Google account. They don't currently transfer between platforms.

Can I delete my data?

Yes — at any time, free of charge. We've put together a dedicated page with step-by-step instructions: Delete your data.

The short version: email info@cleener.ai with the subject "Delete my data" and we'll handle it within 30 days (usually faster). This is your right under GDPR — see our Privacy Policy for the full list of rights.

The app crashed / a feature isn't working.

Sorry about that. Send us an email with:

  • Your device model and operating system version
  • The Cleener app version (Settings → About)
  • What you were doing when it happened
  • A screenshot or screen recording, if possible

This helps us reproduce and fix the problem fast.
