Your data, your choice

Delete your data

You can ask us to delete the data we hold about you at any time, and we will. Here's exactly how — and what to expect.

About this page

This page applies to Cleener, a mobile app available on the App Store and Google Play, owned and operated by Enikő Czigler, based in Hungary. If you have any questions about deletion or your data in general, the fastest way to reach a real person is info@cleener.ai.

How to request deletion

Send us an email — that's it. We don't make you fill out forms or jump through hoops. Here are the steps so you know exactly what to expect:

Step 1 — Email us

Send an email to info@cleener.ai with a clear subject line like "Delete my data" or "Account deletion request".

Step 2 — Help us find you

Cleener doesn't always require an account, so to make sure we delete the right data, please include whichever of these you have:

  • The email address linked to your Cleener account, if you created one
  • Your Apple receipt ID or Google Play order ID, if you ever subscribed
  • The approximate date you first started using Cleener, and the device you used (iPhone / Android)

The more we have, the faster we can find and delete your data accurately.

Step 3 — We confirm receipt

You'll get a reply from a real human (often Enikő herself) within 3 business days confirming we've received your request and started the deletion process.

Step 4 — Deletion happens

By law (GDPR), we have up to 30 days to complete deletion. In practice, it's usually done within a week — sometimes the same day if your request is straightforward.

Step 5 — Final confirmation

Once deletion is complete, we'll email you a final confirmation listing what was deleted and what (if anything) we had to keep — see below.

What we delete

When you request deletion, the following is permanently removed from our systems:

What we have to keep (and why)

By law, we are required to retain certain records even after a deletion request. We keep only what's strictly necessary, for only as long as legally required:

Your other rights

Deletion is one of several rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can also request access to your data, correction of inaccurate information, restriction of processing, or a copy of your data in a portable format — see our Privacy Policy for the full list and how to exercise them.

If you believe we've handled your data improperly and we haven't resolved your concern, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority, NAIH, or with the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live.
